This is one painting in the series Cost of War, Memorial Portraits which includes soldiers, civilians, various fighters, martyrs, suicide bombers, etc. killed in Iraq etc. Some of these were exhibited at Shane House Gallery, Tucson, AZ, Sep. 2007. That exhibition had a front page article in the Arizona Daily Star newspaper, by Aaron Mackey, Sep. 1, 2007 and a perfect review in the Tucson Weekly newspaper, by Margaret Regan Sep. 13, 2007.
